Goodbye WoW!

Last night, I rather abruptly cancelled my World of Warcraft account. While in many ways, this was influenced heavily by Bunky, I have to admit that it is probably for the best. While I was still enjoying the game, I think I could see a bit of the end of the road, especially with the new content provided in the expansion.

The main thing I’m sure I’ll miss from WoW is the great social interaction with my OOM guildmates. Partying with Octos, Molridia, Penda, Faalena, and Truflight was highly entertaining, and we had some great conversations over Vent. Hopefully they will be able to progress to bigger and better content, and I have to admit to feeling a bit bad for taking my level 70 priest out of the mix. I had been playing my current characters for about a year or more, and so I had grown attached to them (especially to Rozamystica and Sariana).

Sariana

Here’s a quickie sketch of my WoW Priest, Sariana. I originally was going to clean the lineart up and make it all cool with the Night Elf shield of arms in the background. I was going to have Sariana holding a glowing ball of light with some rings around it, and funky glow effects. But, then I got totally lazy and kept it in sketch form of course. I typically sketch in navy blue nowadays and then adjust the brightness contrast to make it look like I drew in black. There was an attempt at an OOM tattoo, but it ended up looking like a spider T__T.

More Tanking Woes

It’s been a looong time since I took Rozamystica out and so I was a bit rusty when I brought her out as official “late night tank” (to use Ender’s words). And oh boy was it a challenge. I was rusty at first, but later on I thought I was doing about as well as possible.
