Holy crap this is late, but I finally sat down and at least planned out the pose for Totali’s wolf and spicy Amu gift art. I tried a slightly different style of eye shading. Still gotta figure out an outfit and do the coloring, but I think I will leave this one looking a little rougher. Clearly I need more practice to get my speed up.

Haha, lolwut? In the red corner we have Arf-Miyuki and Nanoha-Kagami. Still working on Hayate-Tsukasa and Fate-Konata. I took some liberties with hairstyles, and yes I am aware that Nanoha and Fate go twintails when they transform.
I hope to have this done before the end of Independence Day tomorrow.
Edit: Lineart done, coloring started.

The path stroking went pretty well, although the uniformity of it is a bit off-putting at first. However, for cell-shaded pictures, it’s not as big a deal. I also began using some vector masks as per solwyvern’s tutorials, with limited success. This is how Ayano is doing at the moment.
The method of using vector masks is a bit clunky to me right now. It’s basically shading in the whole area with a color, then cutting out the areas you want. However, when I have adjacent or overlapping areas, I am not completely sure what to do. It also takes a long time to do the base colors this way. I think it will be great for shading and highlighting, but for base colors it’s not that great so far.

I didn’t bother cleaning up very much or even making sure everything was correct. I just wanted to get this sketch up quickly so I can move on to trying out paths for inking.
I used Poser for this pose, although I wasn’t too ambitious.

I was sooo tempted to put Suzaku in C.C.’s place, with a nice DO NOT WANT caption, but I didn’t want to expend the effort for something so horrible. Lineart is finished, coloring is next w00t!
I am now reminded of “Can I Has Cheezburgerz?” instead, which is much more pleasant.

Arrrrgh, WTF this totally doesn’t look like Lelouch. SO MAD. Gonna put someone over his shoulder and do the blended dotted coloring, probably.
I think my version isn’t skinny enough? Or maybe not androgynous enough? Curse you CLAMP!!!
