I crack myself up, even if no one else thinks this is funny. It kinda sucks drawing the veins and mouth to make the face all fugly; the process feels like vandalism.

Sariana

Here’s a quickie sketch of my WoW Priest, Sariana. I originally was going to clean the lineart up and make it all cool with the Night Elf shield of arms in the background. I was going to have Sariana holding a glowing ball of light with some rings around it, and funky glow effects. But, then I got totally lazy and kept it in sketch form of course. I typically sketch in navy blue nowadays and then adjust the brightness contrast to make it look like I drew in black. There was an attempt at an OOM tattoo, but it ended up looking like a spider T__T.

Gunslinger Girl

I haven’t done a sketch for a while, but the ending of the Suzuka anime series made me want to do a little bit of fanart sketching. Several people have pointed out that Honoka got screwed in the anime version, and they didn’t even show her choosing a new path in life… as an idol! I figured I’d just sketch a little idea that I had about what one of her early photo shoots would have been like. I was rooting for Suzuka all along, but Honoka deserves a little love, too.

Yeah, this is super late and pretty poorly drawn, but it’s one of those things that I don’t think would have benefited much from more effort. For those of you who don’t know, this is a bit of a spoof on the Naruto Rasengan move, only Yakitate style. I finally sat down and tried to sketch it out, and it came out a bit better than I thought it would. Anyway, it’s a very simple sketch, but I hope some of you enjoy the pun.
