Not Sure What To Do

So I’m doing my take-home portion of my Financial Accounting midterm at 2:00 AM on Saturday, and I’m thinking things can’t get much worse. Toby jumps up on the table to check my numbers and it’s very cute of him. Unfortunately, as he leaves, I notice several dark dots on my test papers…

Toby just left watery diarrhea drops on my test!!! Do I just hand the sheets in as is, or do I rewrite them? I don’t really like this professor all that much…

Bumphead

Bunky was petting Sydney the other day and noticed he had a small hard lump on the top of his head. I had sorta-noticed this before, but never thought anything of it; however, Bunky moved away some of the fur to have a closer look at it. It is a small, round bump and it is the same pale pink as the rest of his skin. We’re going to have the Vet check it out later this week.

I suspect it is just a cyst because Sydney wants to be like me. It’s not bothering him, and it’s the only bump he has (I think). We also have to find out why he always grinds his one fang, and why Toby has loud breathing like he’s an old man.

Keep Your Day Job

Bunky gave Toby a haircut over the weekend, and now he is deeply depressed or something. His hair was really wild for a while, and he would always have his hair in his mouth (while the hair was still attached to his body). I liked his lion mane, personally, but Bunky decided to give him an all-over trim. She got some kind of wacky de-furring torture device (which I don’t think worked) and also a pair of normal shears (which worked), and trimmed him so he looked like a shorthair cat.

It took a while to get used to it, but I think it looks nice. I think she should have left some more of the mane, but the rest of his body looks all svelte and neat now. Unfortunately, Toby doesn’t agree. He basically slept all weekend and was despondent. He didn’t respond to anything and he’s very tentative when he is up (like he is scared of every little thing). Hopefully when the hair grows in a little he can make peace with his new hairdo and go back to normal.

4 BR Mansion

Bunky and I picked up a “cat mansion” yesterday. However, perhaps 2-story, 4-room cat tent would be a better description. It took a surprisingly long time to put together, although the plastic pieces fit snugly and felt sturdy enough. We’ve put it next to the sliding glass door to simulate the true camping experience.
