Wolfy and Spicy

Amu

This one was in the works for months! I couldn’t think of a great idea so I just did cosplay again with Amu from Shugo Chara. I didn’t clean up the lineart, so I blended dry brush strokes for the coloring. Not much to say besides that…

One Up

Yotsuba

Even though Yotsuba is made up of such simple shapes, this one took forever. Of course most of the delay was spent in the planning stages, as the actual execution was not difficult. I need to get back to working on my lineart I think, although the pen tool really is pretty awesome for the bezier curves.

Strong-Headed Girl

Sara Werec Cruz

As posted up here, I’ve finally finished this piece of gift art. It’s Sara from Soukou no Strain, and the joke refers to episode 3 when Sara participates in the medic drill and her medic fails to save her. The line art took forever, and kept getting delayed. I know lately I’ve been doing all kinds of funky coloring techniques to cover up my crappy lineart recently, so I just went with some standard cell shading this time. Coloring didn’t take too long, and I liked the overall effect.

Ouran Host Club

Haha, what the heck, I still draw? This is the long overdue 4000 gift art piece, where everyone voted for an Ouran Host Club piece. I was originally gonna leave it as a B&W piece, but Ender kept pestering me, and I was so scared he would do something horrible in MS Paint again, that I toiled to quickly color the lineart. The layout of the piece is SO BAD, but I needed to fill space quickly.
