Which button activates the laser beams?
Now that I eat a variety of odd whole grains just about every day, I’ve found that my Panasonic automatic rice cooker (5.5 cups and with the typical blase flower design) just wasn’t getting the job done. Plus, despite what these ignorant rice n00bs say, cooking rice in a pot sucks. I picked up a Zojirushi Micom 3-Cup Rice Cooker and it has been awesome. It’s handled a variety of rice types with ease, and I don’t have to constantly watch the rice to ensure it isn’t burnt or mushy. I know everyone always gets the 5.5 cup size, but we don’t consume that much rice, and so I got the smaller size instead. It fits perfectly in our small kitchen. Also, it plays a few tunes.

Yeah, Zojirushi all the way! Everyone I know uses it but they also almost always call it the ‘Elephant brand’ rice cooker.
I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of their thermos flask too. The saleslady bet her life that I would be happy with it and I haven’t had to go back and make a claim on her yet.
Mine is an “Aroma” brand but it has the EXACT same buttons as yours. I think the Zojirushi is like the luxury model of rice cooker. My parents have one.
I only ever do 2 cups (one boy) at a time.
Wow! All my rice cooker can do is cook rice! *ba dum psh*…
but yea, my rice cooker literally has one button on it, and that’s “Cook Rice” =(
