You can take the Gates out of MS, but you can’t take the MS out of Gates.
In the latest issue of Vogue, Bill’s wife, Melinda Gates, reveals that among the “very few things” on “the banned list in our household” are—you guessed it—iPods and iPhones.
When you’re the founder, I think you are allowed to make these rules. Personally, I think the Zune is much better than the iPod, although the iPod Touch is pretty nice. The iPod Phone is OK, but only because it is basically a thicker iPod Touch with average phone capabilities and crappy contract options. What I want to know is if the family is allowed to search on Google while at home, or if they have to use the terrible Live search. Also, are PS3′s allowed? Nintendo Wii or DS units?
And even Melinda herself admits to an occasional pang of Apple envy: “Every now and then I look at my friends and say, ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone.’” (Ouch!)
TRAITOR!!! What if Bill Gates were to look at hot models and say, “Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iModel,” in Vogue?

You lose some points for calling it the “iPod Phone.”
He loses even more points for not calling it the incest phonedude! Have you never heard of Windows Live Cashback? I’m about to get $45 back from my internet Christmas shopping! If you do alot of online shopping (excluding Amazon…) then Cashback is a pretty good investment!
Its definitely good to see Gates still doin’ his thang! =3

That was on purpose, as I was trying to make a point… Do I get the points back?
WHOA WTF?! I had heard of it but I just assumed you only got like 5-10 bucks back. You musta worked the system like a hustla.
Well, to be fair, $45 is the amount I’m getting back from ALL of my Christmas Shopping (online), in which I spent maybe $500 (most of it was for comp parts)… The amount you get back depends on the site you are buying from, for example, one of the sites that Windows Live Cashback has on their list is Old Navy, so I went to check it out (mostly because of this crazy deal they were having around December, and free shipping!) (and also cause you get 8% cashback. Some sites only have 1% cashback…). I spent around 80 dollars and got around 7 dollars back (its not much… but its something). The point is, with all my internet shopping, I was able to collect $58.52… but for now, I can receive $45.52 WHY IS THIS YOU ASK!?!?! caaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuussssssssssseeeeeee:
After you make a purchase online using the Windows Live cashback search/clicking on a store from the Windows Live cashback site, you have to wait 60 days in order to get your money. I have to wait 35 more days for this $13 cashback I got from Tiger Direct (no, I can’t take advantage of the deals on Newegg cause of the very high taxing cause I live in NJ
)
Another BS of Windows Live cashback is that its not compatible with amazon dot com. I think its safe to say that most of your online purchases are done there, and me too
I guess a cool thing about cashback is that (like you said) you can work the system like a hustla! I recently bought some jeans (online) from Old Navy (who buys jeans online? I know right? LOL!… don’t look at me like that)

So if you didn’t read that spoiler, I returned the items (cause they didn’t fit…), and I checked my cashback account. Apparently, I’m still getting my cashback from that Old Navy purchase that I returned. I read the FAQS, and they stated that its up to the store itself whether they want to give you the cashback if you cancel/return the order. So apparently, I’M STILL GETTING PAID!!! CHEA CHEA!!! WE GON PAY DA RENT TODAY!!!
Hahahaha…I thought the same thing as well, when I read that article!
I refuse to buy an iPhone, for various reasons. I’m really angry at Apple right now.
And thanks for your comment on the Knicks! I wrote a comment in response to yours. If I’d been smart I would have posted it here, instead of on my own post. But hey, it’s Friday night, and it was a long week at work..man, I’m tired!
