Baby Elephant
This weekend Bunky and I went to the zoo to see the baby elephant that was just born (Angelina). The elephant was super-duper cute, and since it was only 3 days old it could barely walk. The little trunk and wobbly legs had all the onlookers cooing, and finally Angelina couldn’t stand anymore and had to flop down for a rest.
We had to wait in a line for maybe 15-20 minutes just to see the elephant through the glass. The video in the above link has a much better shot. The zoo was incredibly crowded and temperatures were almost in the 90’s. We tried to get some relief in the aquarium, but the aquarium was completely packed and it was impossible to move around. After about an hour, we left tired and hot. Still, I’d say it was worth it to see the elephants.
We also went to the Oakmont Bakery for the first time. The selection was fantastic!
