Veg Out 4 Day III
Sleep was at a premium, since I had to share the giant air mattress with Ender. This resulted in a dangerous game of “bounce the other person off the mattress” with both sides taking tremendous losses. We didn’t make it up for breakfast, but this was just as well since Kungfucius was having a bunch of people over for an epic BBQ. The hamburgers he got were fantastic, and everyone ended up completely full.
With so many people over, we were able to shake off the temptation to just sit around and play Rock Band and instead head outside for more pigskin. It ended up being a ton of running, which was very tiring, but we moved on to basketball next. I sat out the first game where Kungfucius burned his man like he was still grilling burgers, but I came in for the second where Catnip left me in the dust on a bunch of easy layups. My shot felt good, but I wasn’t playing too hard. That’s my excuse anyway.
Dinner on Day III was at Spaghetti Warehouse where we faced the Test of Manliness. Dinner was good, and afterwards we headed back for a BANG! marathon. Velius broke out the expansion deck, and the first round (with 7 people) was horrible and tedious. The green delayed cards absolutely killed the momentum, and everyone complained. We ditched them afterwards, and the fun returned. High Noon global effects added some neat elements, and I pulled off a great performance in which I gathered all three horses, purposely killed of Catnip to bring her back even healthier (and net myself a ton of cards), and then teamed up with Catnip to take down Sheriff Velius in the same cycle. However, no one was able to match Kungfucius who took the sheriff down 3 times that night, and was easily the BANG! MVP.

Hmm…I didn’t think I played basketball particularly well that day. Those burger I made must have left some grill marks on your eyes

In the first game you were cold, but in the second game you definitely owned it up.
