Veg Out 4 Day II
We awoke to some truly blinding light coming into Kungfucius’ living room early that morning. It was ok though, because we were in time to have a huge breakfast at Marshalls (a restaurant, even though the sign was stolen from the clothing store). The pancakes there were maybe 1.25 feet in diameter, and they were especially thick. I went with some egg, toast, and sausage patties so that I would not be sick. Everything tasted great, although no one was able to finish both pancakes. There was also a small parade going on.
Catnip managed to take out the clerks or something, so she made her flight and arrived right after lunch. Velius spotted her right away from her Guitar Hero guitar neck poking out from her backpack. We then did some epic team battling at Dave and Busters, eventually netting enough tickets for an official D&B set of cards. The highlights were the painful bowling game where we bowled a high score of 67 and put VGI in the high score list, and the sweet Let’s Go Jungle game that introduced romantic comedy into the FPS genre. The worst was this lame VR game with bad graphics and a clunky headset. While you spun around in place to shoot the tiny bad guys, you felt like an idiot. It was my first time at a Dave and Busters, so I was pleased with how it went.
At this point Catnip was starving so we headed off to a habachi grill. It was tasty, but I tried not too eat too much since we had had a huge breakfast just 2 hours earlier. We worked it off with a long trek across the OSU campus where I was introduced to 18 holes of frisbee golf. The discs are very different than normal frisbees and do not float on air as well. We sent several discs into the honeysuckle bushes, and that was a big pain. However, we were able to recover all the discs eventually and finish all 18 holes. We also found a turtle and a rabbit on the course.
Since there were so many big fields, we played a little football as well. The ball was a bit overinflated and slippery, and since it was 2 on 2 with one permanent QB, it was mostly a lot of running. I was tuckered out afterwards, but we relaxed at a nice sushi place (in a great shopping area) for dinner. Then it was off to catch Iron Man (fun movie) at a digital movie theatre. That night I learned to play BANG! and I think I did alright. I won the first time as a deputy, and I managed to come very close to winning as an outlaw (in an extremely tense dynamite showdown).

ah, Dave and Busters! The most I ever got was one of those Asian (Chinese?) finger connecting things, where you have to push inwards to release the trap! My brother was like “HURR HURR! I DON’T NEED TO PUSH MY FINGERS TOGETHER TO REMOVE IT!” and *SNAP* that was the end of my prize
lol, frisbee golf? Never heard of it!… *fidgets* RABBITS!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE EXPLODED HIROMI!!!
