The dry cleaner we go to all the time has lost our bag of clothing. No record of it shows up at the plant, or at the store we dropped the bag off at. The bag has at least ~$600 of clothes in it, so naturally Bunky is pretty pissed. We’ve started an email chain to the customer support people, and Bunky has drafted some lawyer-ish letter referring to cases about dry cleaning (this is my assumption). The best case scenario would be the cleaners finding the bag and giving us the dry cleaning for free, but it is pretty odd for the articles to have not been logged first.
In other Lost news, I thought the finale last night was underwhelming. It’s right up there with the Grey’s Anatomy season finale. I thought Desperate Housewives and House had much better season finales. I’m worried about what Bunky is going to do now that these seasons are over. The strike was not that long ago…
This was a short day for me, since I had to catch the bus. We took a nice tour of the OSU campus and played their odd statue instrument thing. We also admired the creepy “person trapped in a plaster egg” sculptures, and Ender fell victim to Buckeye pollen or something. The bus was ok, but we had to rescue 3 people in Zanesville, OH that had been left behind by their bus driver.
I ended up taking an unmarked taxi for a taste of terror. He didn’t even have a meter. I tried to get $3 change back, and all he had was a handful of coins from his pocket and some dirty coins in his cup-holder. I ended up with an odd-looking half-dollar, some nickels, and a bunch of coins that do not look legit or American.
Sleep was at a premium, since I had to share the giant air mattress with Ender. This resulted in a dangerous game of “bounce the other person off the mattress” with both sides taking tremendous losses. We didn’t make it up for breakfast, but this was just as well since Kungfucius was having a bunch of people over for an epic BBQ. The hamburgers he got were fantastic, and everyone ended up completely full.

We awoke to some truly blinding light coming into Kungfucius’ living room early that morning. It was ok though, because we were in time to have a huge breakfast at Marshalls (a restaurant, even though the sign was stolen from the clothing store). The pancakes there were maybe 1.25 feet in diameter, and they were especially thick. I went with some egg, toast, and sausage patties so that I would not be sick. Everything tasted great, although no one was able to finish both pancakes. There was also a small parade going on.
