The Purge Is Complete

Last Friday we got a whole bunch of furniture for the bedroom. There was a massive dresser with a mirror, a new nightstand, and a tall/narrow dresser. With the new furniture, there was no room left for our old Target dresser (which we always hated) and Bunky’s Target desk. And so we turned to Craigslist to be rid of the last of our assembly furniture.

I managed to hook a buyer in 3 minutes with a deal of $5 for the desk. Of course I could have listed it for a bit more, but getting rid of this stuff can be difficult sometimes. Even better, when the buyer showed up, I was able to convince him to take the dresser for another $5. I was willing to just throw the stuff away, so it was a win-win situation. Now, the bedroom looks fantastic and Bunky and I finally have enough storage to put all of our clothes away.

Holy crap this is late, but I finally sat down and at least planned out the pose for Totali’s wolf and spicy Amu gift art. I tried a slightly different style of eye shading. Still gotta figure out an outfit and do the coloring, but I think I will leave this one looking a little rougher. Clearly I need more practice to get my speed up.
