You Thought Grinding Couldn’t Get Worse

This website “Chore Wars” really has to be seen. The orc with the phat lewt bag of recyclables is my favorite (although the fairy with a toothbrush is close behind). The idea is that you claim XP whenever you finish a chore.

Experience points are tracked both as weekly high-score charts, and as ongoing character sheets - every time you rack up 200XP of chores, your character gains a “level”, and their class changes to match the type of chores that they’ve been doing.

Initial thought: this sounds like the worst game ever. Basically, it is like damage meters for chores…

The character classes are simply derived from these stats - a high intelligence will make you a wizard, a high strength will make you a fighter, and so on. Your character class will probably change a bit as you level up.

LOL the possibilities of this statement make me roffle my waffles. Look at all the innovative quests.

While WoW racial characteristics tended to be weak and esoteric abilities like “Treasure Hunter” or “Escape Artist,” the Natural Talents of Chore Wars include such imba-esque abilities like “making phonecalls” and “paying bills.” Who knows how long it will be before “cleaning surfaces” gets hit by the nerf bat.

You better believe I created a character, although it won’t be long before I have billions of alts. I went with the portrait of Ninja 3, of course. It’s too bad that you get pre-allocated stats, because I would have loved to roll-reset my stat allocation. Check me out and PST, Kabitzin L1 RNG LFG.
