Taking a Virtual Walk

Wow, Google Maps got even crazier, adding Street-View. You can read a little more about how they did it, here. You can see some interesting Street-View photos here.

I wonder how many cities they will do and how often this will be updated. It could end up being a really cool service, or it could dwindle away as an incomplete beta forever.

    yeah I just saw it yesterday. Snoopy and I were both commiserating with the guys sent out to take pictures of streets in 360degree angles. what a job that is..
