I Thought YOU Were Bringing the Dungeons
This morning I entered the office to find that the temperature had dropped to sub-zero levels. The A/C was cranked to max, and I had not brought a jacket. However, I just assumed my office-mate felt the room was very warm, since he is much farther from the A/C than I am and so I didn’t say anything. About 2 hours later, my supervisor came in to tell me some news and remarked, “Um, are you guys trying to make it really chilly in here?” I can’t see my office-mate from my desk and so I was surprised to hear him say, “I’m freezing. I have my jacket on.” Apparently it was warm this morning so he had turned up the A/C and then thought I wanted the A/C turned up high. So basically we spent the entire morning freezing for no reason.
Speaking of freezing, I went ahead and ordered a new PC from Directron (the one with the Cooler Master Centurion 5 case). Shipping was a bit expensive at $80, but there was no tax. The computer came to $594, since I went with DDR2 533 after reading more about the motherboard. Hopefully it will arrive by Monday or earlier, since I’ll be out of town from Saturday till Tuesday afternoon.
