Shower
I participated in my first baby shower yesterday, and it was an eye-opening experience. The amount of cool baby gear they have is immense, and my coworkers were quite creative and generous. I think my gift was successful, if simple, and a good time was had by all. I have yet to attend a bridal shower or a wedding.
It’s pretty amazing how the baby shower veterans were able to organize and decorate the event in such a short period of time. Most of the effort was spent on deception, to surprise the new father. Still the transformation of the conference room into a sleek display of pastel glory was nothing short of inspiring.
