Bar Day 2
Well, Bunky came home yesterday all depressed, but after checking over her essay answers, we determined she probably got between 75-85% correct, which is fantastic. The goal of the Bar is simply to pass, and I think around 65% is a reasonable mark to shoot for. Since she is actually much better at the multiple choice portion that is tested today, I’m not too worried about her passing now. She was fearful that someone would mug her and steal her laptop with all the Bar essay answers on it, on her way back home to upload the answers.
The cake was quite good, but an 8″ cake is a bit much for 2 people, so we’ll probably be eating an all-cake diet for the next few days. I think Bunky’s plan is to get through this test, go out with her friends to celebrate (bar + belated birthday) tonight, sleep until tomorrow afternoon, and then spend the rest of the month playing Sims 2.

anyway, i was finally able to drag my deadbeat of a muse back, kicking and screaming from whatever sandy locale she was holidaying for the past year. bitch.
in other words, creative juices are flowing again.

actually, you’re spot on—it’s amazing what cramming in 5 museums in two days can do to you.
i should refuel at the Met, MOMA or Guggenheim next time it gets a bit stale.
