Taking Shape
It’s been a whole lotta waiting on hold the last few days, but now we have a landline too. It’s weird having a regular phone again, in this day of cell phones, but this way we can buzz people in from downstairs. Plus it’s possible that Bunky may eventually need to be sending faxes and such eventually. Either way, the apartment is really starting to take shape. So much of our old stuff has gone to the dumpster, and even old lamps have gotten dressed up with new shades. I’m really happy with how it’s turning out, and the big quest right now is to find bar stools that aren’t too expensive, but look great next to the new counter.

I’ve always kept a land line. I don’t understand how people can just use their cell phones. I’ve lost too many cell phones to ever not keep a backup…

Just go to a local IKEA, I am sure you can find the right barstools.

We did, and they didn’t have anything good. I think Bunky wants nice ones that will last, and a lot of the stuff at IKEA isn’t that sturdy.
