Driving Worries
The time of the trip is drawing near, and I have to admit I’m a little bit nervous about the process. Supposedly the trip from Williamsburg, VA up to Pittsburgh, PA will take at least 7 hours. Unfortunately, the longest I’ve ever driven in one shot is between 3 and 3.5 hours (when we were evacuating the state for Hurricane Isabel), and this is twice as long. I don’t know how I’m going to do it, or if I’m going to need a nap in the middle.
And this is before I even make it to the world of potholes, hills, and one-way streets. Just to make this a real S-rank mission, now Bunky is trying to convince me that we should bring along Sydney. Sure this sounds good in theory, except that the cat is not going to want to sit in the car for 7+ hours, and I don’t want him to pee/poo in the car while I’m trying to figure out directions. Plus I have to make the trip up and back, and then up once more when we finally move =(. That damn apartment over Giant Eagle supermarket better be hella good!
It’s so tempting to try to just sign something without going to visit, but we both know that that would be irresponsible. Who knows how long we’ll be living at this apartment, and we don’t want to end up with something crappy.
