My RAmen!

Excellent, a PA federal judge struck down Intelligent Design. I think of ID as way worse than creationism, because it mascarades as something it’s not; this is not science as it is completely untestable.

The judge found that intelligent design is not science, and that the only way its proponents can claim it is, is by changing the very definition of science to include supernatural explanations.

If you don’t believe in evolution, then say it is because of your faith, or because you have a scientific theory that can be tested and proven to refute evolutionary theory.

In his opinion, the judge said he found the testimony of Barbara Forrest, a historian of science, very persuasive. She had presented evidence that the authors of an intelligent design textbook, “Of Pandas and People, merely removed the word “creationism” from an earlier edition and substituted it with “intelligent design” after the Supreme Court’s ruling in 1987.

And don’t be so damn lazy about it!!!

Yes, my faith in humanity was restored for a brief moment. Then I had that Iron Gator round and it all came crashing down again…

Sweet. Still, it’s wierd to see that the ‘intelligent design’ issue keeps on coming up every 20-30 years, despite all the evidence to the contrary.
