Finally, this Sunday is the Mid-Autumn Festival (中秋節)! I got a box of 4 whole (whole!!!) mooncakes when I visited family at the end of last month, and I’ve been saving this one last one for the actually day of the festival. It’s not easy to find anything even remotely foreign in Williamsburg, and so this was all I could do to bring a little culture to the cottage.

Yes, moon very round and bright now. Mooncakes need Chinese tea though. Can be tough to digest otherwise.
