Looks like Larry Brown will be the new Knicks head coach. The man’s a great coach, and I’m sure he’ll make the Knicks better, but I can’t say I really like the guy. He brings drama wherever he goes, and he’s extremely disloyal. However, at this point the Knicks are so terrible that no good coach would normally take the head coaching position, so a quick fixup is just what they need. I look forward to all the soap opera drama that will unfold as Brown encounters a team that is selfish, undersized, defense-challenged, and soft. I don’t see how he could make it any worse.
