The public beta for Spam Karma 2.0 has been released, although it’s only beta and only for WordPress 1.51 so far. I was hoping that Dr. Dave’s WP Plugin Manager could one-click install it, but I had to go manual. I only futzed a little, since I did it on lunch break, but it looks to be much improved and much powered up. Hopefully I can tweak it to get it to stop eating comments from non-spammers now.
Dr. Dave made the installation nice and simple, and it only took about half a minute. I noticed instead of having just “strict” and “very strict”, it now has “strong” and “supastrong”. Also, you can tweak the strength of individual tests, instead of just one setting on everything.
