Phone Thong
Because women don’t wear sturdy waistbands… I like that it comes in a studded version.
The juxtaposition of the crotch with the phone in the Phone Thong was a nice touch, too.

First off, my apologies to anyone who clicked on the above thumb thinking there would be some hot mermaid fanservice. I swear I didn’t try to make the thumbnail misleading (of course I’m lying). So, for those of you who don’t know, this is Major Alex Louis Armstrong, “The Strong Arm Alchemist,” from Full Metal Alchemist. I have no idea why I chose this idea for the theme, but I was extremely ambivalent about the whole thing. On the one hand, it was pretty interesting and new (stylistically), and on the other hand, I was completely crying on the inside. At one point, I was so amazed at the rippling muscles that I actually dropped my stylus in shock, and had to look under my chair for it T__T. I was going to add a little Al-submarine, but I couldn’t bear to work on this picture any longer. I’m aware that there are quite a few mistakes in the anatomy, and for once I don’t even care. Well, enjoy this horror, and remember why human alchemy is forbidden.
The worst was looking up pictures of body builders and mermen on Google for references. So shameful T_T …
The theme this week was “aquatic” and for the better part of the week, I was at a complete loss as for what to draw. There was a single dark thought in my mind, but I tried to resist it. Hephador suggested a beach scene, and I thought for a second, “Sure, everyone loves fanservice, this will be interesting.” In the end, however, I decided to go with my original idea. It’ll probably only be in sketch form, but it will give new meaning to the word “sketch”. You have been warned T__T.
I decided to switch up the look again, this time to something much simpler. The last one was pretty swanky, but changing anything involved digging in code and changing tons of images. This one might have a lower swank-rating, but most of it is done with CSS, and there’s only one image in the entire theme.
