Only My Second Gift Art Ever

This week I hijacked the art topic and worked on a piece of gift art I promised over a month ago. I couldn’t think of anything for “re-invent” and so I worked on a promised picture of Mansairaku from Otogizoushi. Artwise, it’s probably not my finest work, but then again I don’t think polishing the piece would really help it in any way. For some reason, I prefer to have short little comics be my gift pieces, since I don’t think I draw well enough to craft an “omgwtfbbq that’s so beautiful!”-quality present. On a side note, it was really hard getting Mansairaku to look so beat up. Looking at him like that makes me have a headache!

There’s Always Next Year!

Ah, well the fantasy NBA season is over and KaleidoStars didn’t do awesome, but was far from a disappointment. After a tough injury-filled year, my team got eliminated in the first round by Don’tEatBrownPooh (the eventual champion). However, KaleidoStars went out on a high note, winning in the consolation game to take 5th place, just one place behind Kungfucius’ OSU Buckeyes (our records for the season were good for 3rd and 4th place respectively, out of 10 teams). As for my NCAA bracket, I got rocked pretty badly, but didn’t come in last place (I think I was 3rd from last, but I’m not sure). Since I know next to nothing about NCAA Basketball, that’s good enough for me!

I hope next season’s fantasy NBA draft is live again, cause it was really fun talking trash and picking your team, instead of using that awful auto-picker thing that’s liable to leave you with 5 shooting guards and 1 center T_T.
