Phew! I was much later than usual this week, in spite of having extra time to think about the topic. I had drawing block for the longest time, but I eventually settled on a picture of someone waiting to get a ride home on the bus. Unfortunately, just when I thought the lineart was done, ADscion pointed out to me that the elbows looked funny, and the hands would end up in front of the man’s crotch! Oh noooooes! In fact, after she mentioned this, I realized that she was completely right, and that it looked like he was caught peeing as the bus was pulling in! So I had to rework the arms, but fortunately ADscion was kind enough to help me with the proportions. Anyway, here it is! It’s not that complicated, and I think I made it too dark; still, I’m glad it came out better than last week’s sketch.
Oh yeah, ADscion drew this absolutely adorable picture of a teddy bear that is so detailed and gorgeous I wanted to squeal. She didn’t get a chance to scan it, but check out this sneak preview! Because of how the bear is sitting, he’s also got his hands in front of his crotch, so we were both kinda sheepish about our crotchety subjects ^^.
