Emotional Rollarcoaster: Part 2
I should have known better than to believe them… Yesterday (after work), I called again to reconfirm, and this time I was told (by the same person) that there were no rental cars and that he had never quoted me a price. He even denied ever talking to me! WTF?! This morning they gave me a call to let me know that the car was finally fixed, and that the final price was $650. They have yet to tell me what exactly I was charged for; I guess I’ll find out when I pick it up today. I suppose you could say the situation didn’t turn out as bad as it could have, but it’s still been a tumultuous week. This car better not break down again.
The pain is dulled somewhat by the fact that I am so looking forward to having food again. Mmm, fresh food *drool*.
