Tests

I was pretty bored this morning and decided to try some of those great personality tests that are available online. Overall they seemed pretty accurate, at least a lot more so than those ubiquitous anime quizzes where you can get whichever character you want (woot, I am Nara Shikamaru). I had taken a paper Myers-Briggs test before, but these seemed so much easier to score. I also decided to take an Enneagram Personality Test, even though I had no idea what an enneagram was. I thought it would be a psychology term, but it turns out those psychologists have been dusting off copies of Neon Genesis Evangelion. When I last took the test, I was an ENTJ, although the Intuition/Sensing and Perceiving/Judging components were close to the borderline. This time the results were slightly different, as I came out as an ESTJ (Extroverted (E) 65.63% Introverted (I) 34.38%, Sensing (S) 51.61% Intuitive (N) 48.39%, Thinking (T) 62.5% Feeling (F) 37.5%, Judging (J) 55.56% Perceiving (P) 44.44%). There is more of a P/J gap now, but the S/N still wavers. I’ve actually developed a feeling component (I scored 0 for feeling on the pen/paper version…), but the E/I and T/F components seem pretty set. I am an “Administrator”, much like 13% of the population. The idea of pen and paper Myers-Briggs tests sounds like D&D. Reflex save!

As for the enneagram test, I am an 9w1 (I’m in the regressive section >__< ), although I'm right on the border between 9w1 and 1w9. I wonder if this means that I am conflicted... My Vmean is 2.76 and my Hmean is 5.00, although these numbers don't really mean a whole lot to me (see what I mean? nyuk nyuk nyuk ^__^ ). At least both my surface and overall personality match (although the overall one is a little closer to 1w9). Here are the descriptions for my surface and overall personality. All these results lead me to believe that SimilarMinds sees me as Asakura Yoh with “a high libido”…

Update: The Homestyle Bake was surprisingly decent. It was kinda like a beef stroganoff type dish, and it is definitely something to keep around in case of emergency. I would put it in the same taste category as medium-grade ramen (the high-grade stuff I had in Taiwan was better that some real restaurant ramen!), as it requires the same ingredients and is about as tasty.

On a different slant (enough about me), here is yet another reason to want to go to Japan. CaseArts beware!
